Does a VGA cable output a digital signal if I use two DVI adapters?
I got a new monitor that can use DVI but all I have are my old vga cable. I do own two DVI to VGA adapters but I don’t know if it will output in digital or just allow DVI ports to accept analog signals.
It will not work, more than likely.
The monitor likely has a DVI-D connector on it.
Your DVI-VGA adapters are likely DVI-I to VGA adapters.
The solution is to just get a proper DVI cable.
